				<description>&#060;p&#062;Basia, I do empathize with you being there in such heat.  It is amazing that you think of being stylish even in such circustances.&#060;br /&#062;
The cobblestone streets sound dangerous. Have you looked into the Cole Haan shoes with Niki Air?

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Nicole, thank you for the good tip! These dresses look pretty fine to me. Funny, even though its a british store the american page has much better offer than their british one! I have to check the deliveries.&#060;br /&#062;
Dani- thank you support and understanding!;-))&#060;br /&#062;
OLA- linen idea is great but I find it difficult to get them in my size. I will keep looking. On other topic- most italian streets do no have the pavement. They use cobblestones- killing invention for both: heals and the feet. I thinking about your idea and I am afraid that with knee length of trousers and flats, my poor legs will look even shorter than they normally are. Maybe with wedges?? Anyway, thank you for advice! Since I just joined you I had this strange feeling that nobody will be interested in my question. Thanks for raising my spirit!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Just to clarify, (I believe) we're talking about knee length shorts, not short-shorts.  I've found that they can be nicely dressed up with a pair of heels and a sleeveless top &#038;#38; jacket or a blouse.  Plus they don't reveal any more leg than a knee-length skirt would.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Or, how about some linen pants? As long as you're not bothered by the wrinkles, that is (and I've found linen blend pants seem to wrinkle less than pure linen). They are airy and very elegant looking, at least in my opinion.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Basia, have you tried clam diggers and tunics?  I have also been wearing tops made of nylon that are very light weight and allow air to circulate.  Here's an example of what I mean:&#060;br /&#062;
&#060;a href=&#034;http://www.bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2060097651&#038;#038;FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=7544777&#038;#038;N=7544777+4294967164&#038;#038;Ne=9&#038;#038;Ns=Popularity%7c0%7c%7cProduct%2bCode%7c1&#038;#038;Nu=Product+ID&#034; rel=&#034;nofollow&#034;&#062;http://www.bluefly.com/pages/p.....Product+ID&#060;/a&#062;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I've been searching for a casual summer dress myself without success, so I empathize with you.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Hope that helps!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I am petite pear/A shape European 38 on top and 40 at the bottom( American 6 and 8??)&#060;br /&#062;
Shorts are not the option. I was looking for some casual summer dress but all I could find was:&#060;br /&#062;
1. Office, proper lining heavy&#060;br /&#062;
2. &#034;Angelina Jolie two weeks before twins delivery&#034;&#060;br /&#062;
3. Beach dress&#060;br /&#062;
So far I used to cover my everprotruding tummy over layers of well cut trousers and wrap up dresses or tunics, but in that heat I cannot even think of putting on the trousers.

&#060;p&#062;Ana, Patience and Dani live in very hot climates and they look stylish every day. They should start you off superbly.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Hello Everyone!&#060;br /&#062;
Couple of months ago I got across this web page and what was a curiosity turn into addiction!  I even complain about the weekend breaks! I am visiting it daily, enjoying Angie's style and blogger's  comments, yet first time reaching out for specific help.&#060;br /&#062;
In November last year I was translocated from the mild climate country like Poland to Milan, Italy.After living previously 4 years in Barcelona I thought there will be no acclimatization problem. How wrong was I from the truth! Lack of the see, hard and bone freezing winters, rainy London spring and and: the hell of summer arrived.&#060;br /&#062;
I thought the hardest part will be survive the summer in the office but to my surprise the long working hours as well as AC helps. The real problem starts at the weekend, when the combination heat and humidity is a deadly factor. I am a petit person, like to look crisp (if this is the right words for hate of sweat and public nudity), I find it extremely hard to find some vibe cloths that would covered and cooled at the same time. Keeping the habit of balancing the work by the weakened exploration of Italy I am lately turn off by the defeating heat. Seeing million of other poor souls going through the same experience does not sooth me. I don't want to give up adventurous weekends. Please help!
