You're funny. So, yes, I think Hunter green works for you. I like the olive too but it's harder to tell since it looks brown on my screen. As for other greens -- why don't you try some on in a shop and see if you like it? Like other colours, not all greens are created equal. I remember the first time I put on a kelly green tee shirt -- it was an epiphany moment ("Ahhhh, this is what people mean when they say a colour suits you").  Also, do you like green? If so, wear it. I want a sweater like that, maybe a touch more muted, but I've *never* seen this colour while thrifting. Isn't that weird? Enough about me, back to you. I love your whole ensemble in #1, that scarf is fabulous, and you should definitely add some greens to your wardrobe. I'd say keep them a bit brighter; you look so alive in the more vivid colours. If I'd only seen you in olive, I'd say, yeah, you look good in olive. But comparing it to #1, in which you just sparkle, I'd say prioritise those types of greens instead. Oh, and I have eyes like your husband's! They vary from blue to green to blue-green, and sometimes grey if I wear the right shade of grey. I find it quite fun, except I don't have many greens at all, because I can never find the right ones. Oh well! MuseumGal on "green" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/green-1#post-1160299 Fri, 07 Feb 2014 16:56:34 +0000 MuseumGal 1160299@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ There is almost no green in my wardrobe.  But my husband has these magical light colored eyes that turn blue when he wears blue and green when he wears green, and so he has lots of green.  These two green pieces are more of my pilfering.  (One day it will get warm and I'll wear my own clothes again, she said hopefully.) 1) Green cotton cable crew neck sweater.  I took E's advice and layered a T instead of a button down for a less preppy look, and the for good measure threw on this tassled boho scarf.  The teal didn't quite match, but what the heck.  Brown chelsea boots, and in an unusual display of restraint, I think the only jewelry I'm wearing are my prayer wheel earrings.  Well except for my everday wedding band, watch, and bracelet.  2) Olive green cord shirt.  Yes, it's really olive green, not grey or taupe as it may appear.  The navy turtle neck is also his.  Same jeans as yesterday and I gave up and wore my work boots since we still have lots of ice.  Blue/brown paisley silk scarf found for 99c at Goodwill.  I had these tassel earrings that never got worn so I re-purposed one of them into a necklace.  You can just see my hummingbird skull earrings peaking out. So.  Green.  Should I consider adding some green to my wardrobe?  Maybe try a true emerald?  Thanks for looking and your suggestions are welcome.
