I haven't been to the flagship store, and actually I haven't been in many Macy's recently- that's why I was wodering.

I have to agree with Maya on Macy's. I stopped in yesterday (Seattle store) and remembered the words someone on the forum used re Macy's: "a hot mess." I was looking for the simplest of things- a top to go under a jacket. I'm sure they had it there, but after 45 minutes of looking, feeling exhausted and confused, I left. Too spread out, too disorganized, and racks and racks of wrong sizing- smalls in the large section and large in the small. What is wrong with that store?

Have you ever been to the Macy's flagship store Khris? I don't know how people shop there. It literally makes me feel sick. It's so overwhelming. I feel like a mouse in a maze. The only time I managed to stay in there for more than half an hour was when I went for the YLF convention. Even when I'm focused on one department, I usually just end up walking aimlessly and weaving in and out of racks of clothing. I'm a bad shopper in general, so take that into account.

The Macy's near where I live now is much better in terms of being manageable, BUT it is also a much less nice Macys. They only have their own departments: Style & Co. and INC. They have other brands like Levis, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger...but definitely nothing like the selection they have in NY. Most of their clothes are, dare I say, too old for me IMO.

Ok Maya, now you have to explain why Macy's makes you nauseus?

I thought I saw some at Express, but nothing on the site looks like what I was looking at. Maybe it was NY&Co?

Oneirix, I know what you mean. I did a search on shopstyle and my eye was immediately drawn to the most expensive thing on the page (as always).

http://www.mytheresa.com/shop/.....QA1200001#

Even if I *had* the money, I couldn't bring myself to spend more than $30 on a tshirt. I would absolutely hate myself!

I checked F21 but none were leggings-length. Maybe BP might have something. Macy's also has a good junior's department though it makes me a bit nauseous to shop there.

That particular style is all the rage in LA right now if my friends are to be believed; but unfortunately the only places I know that sell them (Shopbop.com, RevolveClothing.com, etc.) are far from cheap. Good luck finding some nice ones!

I have seen some, Maya- but I can't think where? Check the swim cover up areas, and junior stores like Forever 21. It would be cue with a little vest on top.

I am a big fan of the graphic T look--casual but not boring, and best of all, CHEAP. I can't seem to find them in a tunic length though, or at least not a long enough tunic length for leggings. Anyone see anything like this? If not, I guess I'll just stick to a solid tshirt tunic, but I was hoping for something more interesting.
