Steph,
To get your creative juices flowing fashion wise, maybe you could sign up for one of the online sites like Pinterest if you haven't already. You could clip images of things you like and create a virtual bulletein board which may help you visualize and pinpoint a type of dress that you find attractive. If you have a month you could spend a week or so doing this and have a pretty good idea of what you are shooting for.

I've come to a point where I am just at a style block. I love to shop but I am having trouble finding things I like or things I could see myself in. This is a problem especially when I need new clothes lol

Not a big fan of target, I like Kohls, Macy's, and there is a Nordstrom.. I find that usually these dept. stores keep a lot of their clothes 20-40 percent off pretty regularly. I'm actually checking Nordstrom's online right now.

Congratulations on your graduation! Very exciting.

For dresses around $50 or less, you might have to look at H&M or even Target (I saw some very pretty dresses there yesterday) or hit the big department stores (Macy's?) on a sale day or go through clearance racks.
Is there a Nordstrom Rack in Raleigh? That's an option.

Well I live in a pretty small city and the shopping here sucks so I do most of my shopping in Raleigh NC

And possibly also where you live! That way perhaps one of the members in the same city might have advice of brick-and-mortar stores to try.

Oh, sorry! I am 5'5" 125lb... pretty slender but I've got swimmer's shoulders so they are somewhat broad, blonde hair, blue eyes, pretty fair skin. I am pretty much open to any suggestions as far as style goes. I definitely wanna stay in the 50 dollar range and something that is very spring-y. I love girly colors. Hope this helps!

Hi Steph - congratulations on your upcoming grad! It would be really helpful if you could provide us some information regarding your body type, colouring, hair, preferences, etc. so that we can provide you with more useful feedback. A photo would be great if you're comfortable with that!

Hi all,
I'm pretty new to this blog but I found it's got lots of helpful posts. Anyways, I am graduating college in a little over a month and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a dress to go under my gown and to wear to the party afterwards. I'll wear either silver or black shoes so something that goes with that and also a dress coming from a store where I can go to and try it on rather than buying it online.
Thanks so much!
