The women's ones sized up do look like the look book though. I, like Angie, have decided to get my true size in the women's. The mens ones start at size 30 in the store which is way too big for me. I agree they are a gorgeous soft, not scratchy wool blend that drapes. They feel lovely to wear. The grey to me has a warm, perhaps olive, undertone. They do have length and some width at the bottom. The fit on my particular shape is slouchy in that they sit below the waist and have a slightly dropped crotch, but not a big saggy butt. I like this fit but if I lose weight which I hope to do, they will start looking too big. Sized down I think they would fit as a tailored cut but probably be a bit tight in the rear. I've decided it's not the right time for me to spend the money on something I don't really need and doesn't work that well for my climate - they'd look silly stuffed into boots.
