I love the idea of strategic appliqué, but with 3 holes down the front line, I think it would need to be a total redo. Seriously considering reusing pieces to make into a pillow for DD’s room.</p> <p>Re: moth protection....I will look into it. I suspect this may be due to the home remodel as we’ve never had moths before. Maybe you could change the look by adding needle felted dots? It is actually pretty easy. Purchased 6 years ago on sale, it had a great not-quite-grape color, perfect v-neck, arm holes that fit just right, a weight that worked perfectly standalone for California winters, and as an extra layer when visiting Canada, and just worked whenever I needed it. Pulled it out today to find 3 sizeable holes in the front. A moth must have had fun while we were moving as this is the 3rd sweater I've found damaged this season.<br />&nbsp;<br />Adding this to my HEWI list as it will be hard to replicate.&nbsp;</p>
