Hi Cedar

I don't know which styles you like and how much you are willing to spend, but maybe you can find something you like in the NAS? They have pants that are now around $59.
http://shop.nordstrom.com/C/23.....bo=2378402

Other options (I'm not familiar with the fit of any of these trousers...), but most of them are having a sale at the moment:

Violet, one of our forum members, has had luck with the dressy pants at Victoria's Secret, they fit her perfectly
http://www2.victoriassecret.co.....8;page=all

If you have a Benetton near you, that's worth checking out too.

Good luck with finding a fab pair!

Check JC Penney- especially if they have an outlet near you. You have to wade through, but I almost always find something worth the looking.

I was going to suggest AT, ATL and New York an Co as well as sale rack at Banana Republic. All of those stores have various fits available so through trial and error you can find something without breaking the bank.
Plus, they all have sales routinely, clearance racks and coupons.

New York and Co has some new things for Fall that are straight out of JCrew stylebook.

I am an hourglass who is going in the other direction with weight, so I've also needed pants that were good quality but that I didn't want to spend much on. I have good luck with the sales rack at AT Loft, and at New York & Co.

I am apparently going through some kind of second puberty; I am 27 years old, and most my life, I have had the prototypical rectangle shape--boxy and straight up and down. WHen I put on weight, it tended to dispurse evently throughout my body, often giving me that lovely potato shape. However, over the past 8 or so months, my body has been increading becoming hourglass/pear-shaped. Which I have no issues with--I like my new, more feminine body. It's still weird to see a big butt and tapered waist in the mirror, but I'm ultimately happy with the way I look.

The only problem is my wardrobe. I'm slowly replacing a lot of places that don't fit/flatter with new items. The biggest problem is pants! I literally bought two pairs less than two month ago that fit perfectly fine, but now are obscenely tight. Two months ago! It's frustrating that I'm apparently not yet done changing. I'm also frustrated at feeling like I have so little to wear--at the moment, I'm wearing mostly skirts, and have one pair of pants I feel comfortable wearing in public.

I'm looking for a place to buy some nice, not-junky looking pants that won't cost a ton of money. I'm not ready to invest in a pair of pants that might not fit me in two months, yet I want to look professional and put together. I'm not the hugest fan of Old Navy, which tend to just hang on me funny, and the fabric is too thin. I once bought a pair of pants at Target, which looked good at first, but after two or three wearings, looked worn out and baggy. Any other ideas?
