I don't make a habit of doing this, but I did do it once, with absolutely no regrets. Two years ago I bought a pair of dove gray ankle boots that were so awesome -- super comfy, flattering and go with nearly everything -- that I went back six months later and bought a second pair in wine red. On the one hand, I'm not someone who needs a lot of variety in my outfits. I like to find something that works, and be done. Every so often, though, it does feel like I'm wearing the same thing all the time, and I think it comes from the duplicates. </p> <p>It doesn't bother me quite as much with shoes.
