You are right about M&amp;S. I picked up a free magazine they are handing out featuring important women in the UK. Fashion and celebrity types like Grace Coddington, Karen Elson, and Helen Mirren, but also athletes, artists, administrators, and humanitarians--all modelling fab outfits from the store and a blurb about their accomplishments, and what role fashion and dressing well plays in their lives. By the way, if you are in the market for a good face cream, stop into a Boots and pick up a jar of Eucerin Hyaluron Filler. It comes in both a day version with a sunscreen and a slighter thicker version sans sunscreen for night time. I usually pick up a couple of jars when I'm in the UK because it isn't easy to find in North America. I've seen a pink maxi with cold gladiator sandals, and a 'pensioner' dressed top to toe in acid green! However this post is not about street style, but rather what I picked up!</p> <p>You see, left to my own devices, while DH is out at golf, I have been visiting the plentiful shops in this shoppers paradise. (I could weep at the availability of trousers labelled 'long'.). As a SA who helped me said, 'you're allowed to go a bit mad!'</p> <p>What I got...stretch navy skirt ( below the knee), black and white Dalmatian print sweater, nightgown (to replace the one I left behind in London) and leather booties. M&amp;S was full of things I loved and where I got the first 3 items. The booties are Russell and Bromley, and they are just divine! I wore them for 6 hours today without any foot issues.</p> <p>These are all very classic items, but things I could never get where I live, so it is a treat for me to find them. </p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
