Probably the classic fit which is perhaps hard to style if you are looking for that tailored fit. I think they are best belted or tucked into high waisted pants for my current desire of a clean slim silhouette. If they were new today I would probably return, even though my husbands of the same brand wear like iron. I ended up buying one that had front gathers at the bust- don't know if they still make that model or not. </p> <p>Anyway, it may be a trade-off: either buttons all the way up, or more flattery. Of course YMMV. The 2P pulled across the top button, but the 4P fit great. The only problem is that I really want a shirt that buttons all the way up, and I didn't realize that the fitted shirt does not. Too bad, b/c it's perfect in every other way.</p> <p>Should I exchange for the "tailored" or the "classic"? I like the idea of a more fitted shirt, but I worry that the "tailored" will be too tight on me. Does anyone have experience who can advise? At least the exchanges have no shipping charges.</p> <p>ETA: sorry I haven't been around much. Work has and continues to be a bear, no pun intended. </p>
