I can't admit I've follow the fashion trends accurately lately, but Golden Globe ceremony really captured my attention. Precisely, the red carpet dresses were both amazing and dissapointing. For instance, I've learned about <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.wearona.com/dbi/tom-ford">Tom Ford's geometry-related designes</a>, but when I saw the dress by the brand on Hayden Pennettiere, I concluded it is not proper for every girl. On the contrary,  Naomi Watts in traditional Tom Ford dress was great! She has been quoted as saying she is 5ft 8in and 150 lbs, and she is my age. I even brought a head shot of her for hair inspiration when I got my hair cut in December! I want to love everything she wears, but when I saw her last night I was conflicted...and I fear she will be on the receiving line of some fashion criticism until the next red carpet showdown. I liked the idea of the dress, and especially the dark skirt that showed her neat ankles, but the high closed neck was a bit staid, as was her hair style. Now a couple of years ago, she had an amazing outfit, and Colin Firth was her arm candy. So glad those weren't popular last night.  Yes, Laura. Naomi Watts is always a fave, and so is Cate. Those Aussie gals can do no wrong in my book. I adore them as actors and as style icons.  Hah, Antje. I'm glad you now have a favourite fashion moment of all time.  I thought Olivia Wilde's maternity gown was better than Kerry Washington's maternity gown - I didn't fancy the winged cape thing - although Kerry was radiant of course, and looked beautiful no matter what.  I vote Adam Sandberg's speech as best. I do cringe at most of the speeches and can barely stand to listen to them. She's just SO HAPPY! It's infectious. Diane Keaton looked great, of course, but I can hardly call her outfit "daring". It's essentially the same look she's been wearing since Annie Hall. She wears some variation of a man's suit to almost EVERYTHING. I loved the length of Emma Thomson's dress and thought the look very flattering. (See pic below). She is an extremely tall women. I think she's 6ft sans heels. She was towering in her Louboutins. I knew you would love Emma Roberts and Margo Robbie, Antje. Those are your types of frocks. They were stunning, and I'll add them to my faves list too.  I wanted to love Amy Adam's dress, but she set a very high standard in American Hustle, so I guess I was hard on her. LOVED her in American Hustle.  I have to go with Diane Keaton as most daring - and it worked.
