Did you know movado also makes coach watches and michael kors are made by fossil, as are Michele watches. Swiss movements are great but Japanese movements are quality, too. </p> <p>I think the best watches are automatic. Seiko and citizens have a version of an automatic watch. Eco drive and something else, I can't remember the name. </p> <p>I know oversized watches are in, but I think I wouldn't go too oversized.<br /> I think it will look dated.</p> <p>And as you get older, a watch with gold hands and gold face gets hard to read! I have been expanding my watch collection and recently added a gold "boyfriend" watch. The larger size takes some getting used to (very heavy) but once you go big, it's strange to wear a smaller watch. (I like the chrono also but have no idea how it works - just like the looks). My criteria was a much smaller budget, but definitely no crystals or any sparkle (and I'm queen of the magpies). It might work on you, but my wrists would be too small for those. Movado makes a quality product. Most true watch geeks dont care for the simplfied face design and quartz movement, but i do think it is a beautiful watch.
