I love the stuff in the Wrap London catalog. I am hoping someone here gives their stuff a try and reports back. That is a lovely sweater.

I cannot imagine how much RH spent on marketing to me! I can maybe afford a candle or towel!

I think crinkly is the wrong word I chose for the Current/Elliott sweatshirt. It is to my taste far too thin. I think it needed heft to fabrication.
Though it looked far better on Janet than on me. I was probably too big for it.
I'm not so sure of the Wrap London one. It looks like it would work on ladies of a certain age.

Are you talking about the Current Elliot gold sweatshirt? I didn't find it crinkly at all -- on the contrary, nice and soft and lightweight.

OMG the Restoration Hardware catalogs! I showed it to my husband and he thought it was a special "to the trade" package for interior designers (I used to study ID and worked for a design firm for a while and still get some magazines). He didn't believe they'd send out that much paper to a regular old retail customer until I showed him how a friend of mine on Facebook got them too, and she has absolutely nothing to do with design! I like their stuff, but wow, what a huge waste of paper!

That's a pretty sweatshirt. I love the watercolor look of the front panel.
I'm laughing at your catalog experience. It does make you wonder, doesn't it? I don't know how long you've been at that address, but perhaps someone before you did a lot of mail order shopping!

I was thinking about the overly crinkly (according to fab testers) gold lamé sweatshirt in the Nordstrom sale.

I came across this one in a catalog, Wrap London, <http://www.wraplondon.com/fash.....tshirt.htm>

It's not lamé but it is a nice gold color palette that would look good with blond people particularly. I have over-bought and until I figure out what's going back, I'm not touching it.

I think that Wrap London is supposed to be the younger version of the Poetry Catalog. (Their addresses are similar and they seem to use similar fibers/fabrics in their garments.)

We get a strange mix of catalogs. I am not sure who the big data people think lives in my house but 80% of the time it is *not* people who would buy their stuff. We get everything from toddler clothes, to teen, to older women stuff. Last month I got this insane set of catalogs from Restoration Hardware that, not joke, weighed about 20 pounds. (I have never shopped there.) And ever since I ordered an orthotic I seem to get a lot of ugly shoe stuff, too.
