I felt absurdly happy in my thrown-on outfit, and realized I had on several 70s-ish touches: The calico print on my dress was incredibly similar to one I wore in the 70s. I wore Birkenstocks in the 70s. I wore a little gold heart pendant in the 70s. For good measure, I did yoga with my mom in the seventies. </p> <p>I don't aspire to 70s style and the decade was not entirely a happy one for me. But Angie has alerted me to the happiness that nostalgic elements can evoke. </p> <p>Have you ever found yourself sporting nostalgic touches you didn't intend to put on? How do you feel about dressing nostalgically? Do you ever do it on purpose? </p>
