We are considering both Lonavala and Mahableshwar, also Matheran, Ganpatipule and Alibag. Or just scrapping the local stuff (family in Mumbai and Pune) and flying to Jaiselmer for a camel trek. For fellow desis, I'd welcome any suggestions for short child-friendly trips in the area. We were considering Goa but it may be too crazy around the holidays. We will spend a lot of time seeing family - unfortunately there's no wedding in the works! </p>
