Thank you!</p> <p>I'm attaching two more pics here. #2 is my newest pair, the pair that broke. TBH I was wearing them less and less because they just felt too BLACK for me, even though I really liked the shape. They look okay in the pic below because there is a lot of black in the outfit, but I didn't like how they went with lighter tonal outfits, or with pink or lime green. So I was wearing an older pair a lot, which was a half-rimless dark bronze pair (#1). These seemed dated but I was a whole lot happier with them color wise. Also I thought maybe the smaller footprint on my face was more attractive?</p> <p><b>Claire, Carla, Aileen, Deb, Firecracker, DV</b>--The Tory Burch frames&nbsp;were my favorite too.&nbsp;Probably the only thing that kept me from snatching them up was that I needed to have an appointment first! I loved them because they weren't black, and because with the thinner rim on the bottom they reminded me of my old&nbsp;#1s.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Suz, Vicki, Denise--</b>thanks so much for stretching me. That's what I wanted. The three of you want color and/or intensity and I think that's interesting, when I was going for refinement. Of course you're right with Angie!</p> <p><b>Angie--</b>that is very specific advice and I'm grateful. I will look for these things--chunkier frames but lighter or colorful. A couple of different lines had a clear olive green color that I was very drawn to, but the shapes were wrong.</p> <p>Thanks, everyone! These are both really nice. I have a slight preference for the second pair, because I'm partial to the lighter lower rims (I might look into that next time I need a pair). I feel like you could handle a larger pair of frames if you wanted to--oversized or nerd style&nbsp;(wish I could).
