Am I wrong in thinking that none of these measure up to my <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_iFHBqlIPD1E/SldV6oFMZ_I/AAAAAAAABHY/1Qzgqz2G8oE/s1600-h/IMG_+105b.jpg">favorite burgundy and turquoise frames</a> or even the <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/kpainter/InKariSWardrobe?authkey=Gv1sRgCNaZ1vCy7O6bDg#5306760978796971554">cherry red pair I was thinking of replacing</a>?</p> <p>My favorites were in pictures #1 and 2 - hot pink with black polka dots. My mom actually has this pair <a href="http://www.framesdirect.com/framesfp/Phoebe_Couture-mjsjoj/r.html">in black</a>, and they look adorable on her. But I'm thinking that they don't "lift" enough.</p> <p>#3 I think are a bit too small for my eyes.</p> <p>#4 is okay but I feel like they are kind of blah and drab.</p> <p>As usual, most of the frames that I liked were ruled out because they were too narrow for my face, since I'm pretty wide across the temples &amp; cheekbones.</p> <p>I did find a pair of sunglasses with a wavy red detail on the frames that I liked a lot (see #5), but I'm not sure whether it's worth it to buy prescription sunnies, given that I like to wear contacts during our brief summer months anyway.</p> <p>I'm not in a rush, as I can always spend this years $150 insurance benefit on contact lenses instead and wait until 2011 to decide whether to update my red glasses, or get a new pair instead. (Plus, I already have one pair I'm in love with, so this is just an extra/backup pair!) </p>
