I thought they were dark brown but that's what I get for not being able to see properly. The inner rims are actually a pretty shade of peach. So they are more interesting than I gave them credit for.</p> <p>Bad news:</p> <p>When I tried them on, there was obviously no prescription in them, which made me think they fit well around my eye. Unfortunately my prescription makes my eyes look smaller, so it still looks like they're a bit big around my eyes. I guess there's nothing I can do about that though. Out of the dozens of glasses I tried, only 2 of them fit well and they looked so similar it didn't really matter which I went for (my mom can vouch for me that I'm not just being silly...I have a VERY narrow face). I really wanted the Ralph Lauren glasses to fit because they were visually the most interesting, but no matter how good they looked on the rack, they just didn't look good on my face. At the very least, these fit closer around my eye than my current glasses do. I wear contacts most of the time anyway, so it's not a huge loss.</p> <p>But if anyone is still interested in my glasses saga, that's the outcome. </p>
