Since wearing glasses, I have never worn earrings because I feel it is too much for me(but there are people I see who wear both and it looks great) I dont have pierced ears anyway. I'm with Kari, I tend to think of my glasses as an accessory (they are pretty noticeable, not shouting but not lowkey either) and when I wear them I usually don't wear earrings if I'm wearing a necklace or my top has a lot of features to it at the neck. I usually choose which of the two pairs to wear depending on whether my outfit is featuring black or brown as its primary neutral. Both frames, however, are about the same level of formality - I don't really have a "dressy occasion" pair of specs, but the pairs I have would be fine for a semi-formal occasion.</p> <p>I usually prefer to leave off earrings when I wear glasses, or else wear earrings but leave off my normal necklace instead. Some pairs are more retro and dressy while the others more casual.I always wear my white pair of specs when I want to soften the look of black against my face.
