So I'm in charge of my own birthday and christmas gifts, not to mention finding gifts for his sister, niece, brother-in-law, parents, etc...&nbsp;</p> <p>I like to keep holiday giving pretty low-key anyway, so it's usually just a couple fun accessories or nicer-than-normal body-care products, and whatever useful kitchen/household stuff we need. My Christmas budget is always separate from my everyday money ( cash in an envelope). I start setting aside in early November. I wake up Dec 26 without holiday debt. It's my Christmas present to myself.</p> <p>I was doing good until yesterday. I had only bought a case for my phone and a top. Then I found a boutique that sells exactly my look. I was able to try on quite a few Nicholas K pieces. The staff was interested in my knowledge of the brand and pulled a lot of stuff for me to try. I ended up buying a Nicholas K sweater and capri pants and a thermal top by Wilt. I splurged on an alpaca coat that I found while shopping with my mom. They were having a midnight madness shopping night and I think I went a little mad :)<br /> My mom was quite the enabler, describing it as 'timeless' and it is one of the few items of clothing I've ever bought that I can imagine keeping forever. I say mostly, since I did get that cream coat and a cheap top from ON so I could get free shipping. I had thought to buy my SIL some piece of clothing, but she just had a baby in September so I held off. Ordered my mom a top from Talbots, which is one of her go-to stores so hopefully it fits. Nothing clothing for my DH this year or any of the other guys in my life - they're all pretty picky. </p> <p>How about you guys?
