My friend in So Cal goes to handicraft fairs and finds little shops with interesting things. I hoped to fly down to see her this spring, but it's not going to happen now.&nbsp;</p> <p>Last year she sent the items below. I like the earrings--to me they are for summer and I did wear them last summer. The matching pendant has gone unworn. It's on a 30" chain that can be shortened to 27" and the pendant is 2" wide, a bit big for my taste. Don't like the metal color either. Looping the chain around my neck 2x doesn't work as nearly as well as the Chanel. I could get a black cord--I think I may have a long leather one here somewhere. I'll have to look online.</p> <p>As you can see--it hangs nearly to my waist.&nbsp;</p> <p>The second pendant is on a wire--fits just at collarbone. The fastener is way too tricky for my fingers and difficult for DH--he has essential tremor. It reminds me of some kind of symbol, but I haven't found it online. It's also bright!&nbsp;</p> <p>While I have a variety of gold and silver and even a gold/silver chains, they don't look right.&nbsp;</p> <p>We usually Skype Monday afternoons and she always notices when I'm wearing one of her items.&nbsp;</p> <p>Any suggestions? You guys are so creative with your ideas. Again, this would be worn in the summer.</p> <p>Sharkie would so like to go outside, and he does escape some times. He's usually happy to sit and watch from an open window, but it's too cold today. Despite his fat furry little body, he doesn't like the cold either.&nbsp; </p>
