She mentioned she hates spending money on shoes, so I started thinking in that direction. She is pretty conservative, so booties were out, but I wanted to pick out something up-to-date. AJ modeled some really cute boots from Nordies <a href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/eeek-im-trying-some-trends">here</a> that came up again recently in Tarzy's boot thread. Here is her review. She usually will barely even tell me if she likes something, so I am taking this as a complete rave.</p> <p>"Thanks for the boots! They are very cute. I tried them on right away. [DH] thought my outfit was an embarrassment, but I thought I looked like a peppy cowgirl. His reticence may have been because we're resealing the basement and I was also wearing some paint-spattered running shorts and a men's XL [midwest team] football shirt, which I guess he felt was not a boot ensemble; he lacks imagination. It's supposed to be in the 60s next week, so maybe I can finally bust out the skirts + tights + boots outfits in style. </p>
