You wouldn't have to limit yourself to edgy Road Warrior boots. "Soft" boots--meaning more luxurious, polished or refined styles--would still be worn by a FWP, IMO. Perhaps to the forest banquet after the war victory! They would be less sweet and girlie than flats or pumps, but would build on the equestrian or woodsy and "strong" vibe. They are all a little... soft.
