Some fabrics like that are very shiny and gearish, and some are less so. I wanted a pair of quick drying light colored capris similar to the Athleta ones but am wondering if these look too gearish. They are mid calf on me and the leg openings can be cinched so they look a little more streamlined. I feel like I'm on a slippery slope here. Also is the ruching a dated look? </p>
