Tanya, Gap tall sizes are not just longer, they are constructed differently too. Specifically, the arm-holes in tops stop at a lower point on the ribcage. If you were to compare a tall size small to a regular small, the entire armhole would be longer, so a tall small sweater might have droopy armpits on your body. This happens to me too depending on the garment as I am a tall small/xsmall, so I hear your frustration on the lack of xs in tall sizing! I have to alter small tall sizes from this company, but try the cardigan out and keep ahold of the receipt! Let us know how it works!

Thanks for the info Angie and Taffy! I hope S might work ( I do not want a skintight fit) because tall sizes only start from S, there's no XS ( as if people can not be both tall and small at the same time) :(

Katie, I am not a single bit tall, I am just 5'6". But I have a very long torso, and most BF cardigans these days hit me at a wrong spot, I usually need it 1-2" longer. I am hoping the tall size might fix this, but I'll see, the S might end up being too baggy.

I have worn a bit of tall gap sizes over the years, but mostly pants. The few shirts that I've worn have had long enough sleeves and bodies for me at 6'
Otherwise, they fit the same as the regular sizes. Hope that helps. Try it, and if it fails return for free to the store! (love that feature!)

Tall fits are usually the same with extra length, Tanya. You might need an XS though.

Does anyone have any experience with Gap tall sizes, they are only available online?

I have my eye on this boyfriend cardigan:
http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....pid=561825

I am going to go to the store to try it in both XS ( my regular Gap size) and S, but I suspect that it's going a tad too short for what I want it to be. I see that they offer Tall S , but online only, so I am wondering how it might fit compared to regular S. Would it be just longer or also a bit bigger too?

Thank you very much!
