I am still holding for a bigger size for you, Vicki.
I am wearing mine now for the first time today - super warm and super slouchy!:-)

Good morning from Palm Desert (where it's raining and I left my raincoat at home). The iPad is taking time to load, so I'm only connected by my phone. There's such an interesting variety of opinions here, which I like. In fact, not one but two SA's voted for the smaller size.

Since my reception here is sketchy and not fast the way I like it, I'm recalling that in my post on the blue sweater someone saying there is sizing inconsistency with the sweaters. I would have to agree in that the ivory S seemed smaller than the navy S. In answer to your question, Sarah, I plan to keep both the ivory and navy since I think both colors work for me and can be layered for for autumn and winter use.

Color me *oppressively conventional* then! I like the length of the sleeves *and* the body much better on the XS. You still get an over-sized, slouchy sweater; there is no way you could call it fitted, even in the XS.

Why is it that sales associates are always trying to get people to buy too-small clothes? I agree with the others; size small is the best, otherwise you lose some of the nice drape. You're not swimming in it. It looks perfect.

I really notice this whenever I shop for jeans or yoga sweat pants. It seems like they invariably declare that the jeans look perfect when they give me muffin top, or the sweat pants look perfect when they are wedged up the crack of my bum.

Still trying to get my brain wrapped around how these sweaters are supposed to fit. I just looked at Angie's pictures again, and from what I can tell, the length of her sweater falls at about the same place on her, as the XS falls on you. To me, the S just looks too long on you and really shortens your legs. Angie is taller than you, so maybe that's why the S doesn't look as long on her. I don't know - obviously, you can*not* trust my opinion on this sweater!

Well, I like the XS best. To me the armholes of the S, plus the excessive length of the sleeves just looks toooooo big to me! Also, if you want to wear a jacket over it, I think the XS would work best!

Vicky, for the YLF aesthetic S is the ticket. For the average observer, XS fits best. It depends on how fashion forward you want to go with it. My personal preference would be for XS, I think it is still slouchy enough.

Love you YLF peeps & thanks for the haircut love, Angie, and Rachylou, you don't know how much I'm smiling and laughing with your comment. To answer your question, Angie, like the BF jeans, it took me a "minute or two" to see it, and I agree, it IS more fashion forward.
