I'm glad that you were able to get it sorted out. Gap/BR/ON is one of the few that actually does allow you to stack codes & their method can be confusing. I've had the same experience as Beth - some of the purchases will itemize the discount and others just show up at a discounted price. I have an itchy trigger finger when it comes to my calculator and it always seems to work out in the end but it is hard to figure out.

Update - Gap called me to straighten it out. Apparently they have it billed correctly on their computer, showing the proper price, it's just my itemized invoice that shows each item being priced higher than it should be, but my total is actually correct. Anyway, thanks again for the input, everyone!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad no one else has had this issue. I've e-mail Gap about it and we'll see what they say.

Hi - I haven't had the same experience with coupon codes but I've seen changes to my total for adjustments to sales tax.
Did you print out or save your order confirmation? The order confirmation It is the email you got right after you placed your order. if so, does that email have the 45% off + free shipping? If yes, I think they should be able to honor the prior price.

Lana, my total was correct, but the way the reductions were reflected was odd. My order itemized only the free shipping and the 20% Visa code. The 25% off code wasn't itemized, but the line item price reflected the reduction. Does that make sense?

Also it's worth noting that even with the two codes, they won't add up to exactly 45% off because they'll apply one code, get a total, and then apply the next code, for example: 25% off $100 is $75. Then 20% off of the $75 is $60. Whereas 45% off of $100 would be $55.

Either way, it sounds like something is odd about your order as the numbers changed on you:(

most of the time, online coupons cannot be combined with each other or other offers, so i apply the codes individually and use the one that gets the most discount.

Hi ladies - I have a question for those of you that took part in the Gap sale with the online coupon codes I posted.

I placed an order within the proper time limit for the coupons and the order was accepted. So I would have a total of 45% off and free shipping. However, upon checking my order status, the charges were all higher than they appeared on my invoice when the order was placed, now reflecting only one of the codes (20% off). I've e-mail Gap about this to find out what's up, but I was wondering if any of you have experienced the same thing?

Thanks!
