However, I have just noticed that the gray pair is starting to pill a bit on the back thighs (where you sit). I don't think it's noticeable unless you run your hands along the fabric, and I suspect they can be easily de-pilled. The black pair has not pilled - but I wear the gray more often. </p> <p>I suspect this is going to be a hazard with any ponte knit pants, regardless of price.I think I have gotten my money's worth out of these from a cost-per-wear standpoint, so I'm not too upset about it. I haven't had a pair of skinnies in over 25 years - but I love ponte knits and have great trousers from JJill, AT, and ATL. I didn't want to commit a lot of money. The other style I liked was the 5 pocket version that looked like jeans, but the ones I got are better because they look a bit dressier and I can wear them to work. I don't think they have pockets in the front but I'm not sure. The rayon ones draped better and skimmed my leg rather than clinging to it. A lot of the reviews also say they look more like leggings and that they are very tight fitting. They are also filed under the leggings category, which is not encouraging to me.
