I'm petite and the P4 fit perfectly, at the length I like best (right at the top of the hipbone). I tried on the regular sizes in the store and didn't like the longer length (and of course the sleeves were too long). The blazer fit, but it didn't flatter. My arms are very short, so the regular size never would have fit. I think the jacket is very nice for the price point, esp. if you ordered it on sale. I decided that for my particular body and flattery priorities, I probably need to be willing to spend more and that the shrunken jacket look does me no favors. I have the gray with black piping and the blue "academy" blazer. I ended up getting the gray one in a regular size 4 even though I am a petite because it was a little bit longer (maybe by an inch) than the petite size. I had to get the sleeves shortened though (cost me $20 with the piping but got the jacket during a 30% off sale!). The blue blazer only came in regular size and I had to size down to a 2 for the right fit and I had to get the sleeves shortened as well. </p> <p>The gray one is a knit and very soft. The blue one is a wool blend. I love both of them and can't wait to wear them when the weather cools.
