I think that's what I have, Katie. In fact I tried to add another pair this spring and they didn't have the mid rise, just the low rise. So, I'm super excited to know that they have these in the stores again. I didn't really have an issue with bagging in the knees, maybe a little in the bum, but I loved the fit and the higher rise, kind of holds in the muffin if you know what I mean. I think you will love these, I love mine,

I have some of these and they do bag out. After an hour or two of wear I need a belt or I'm hiking them up all day long. They also wear out quickly--all my Gap jeans do. However, they fit me well.

That's very true, Suz.

I've had an instance where I bought the same sized, same cut jeans but they fit differently because one fabric was stiffer than the other.

I wish there was a lot more consistency in the market these days. I keep having to switch jean brands every few seasons because retailers change the way the jeans are cut!

I don't size down because I can't....they would not do up at the hipbone any smaller on me.

The other thing about Gap is that it's all so inconsistent. Just because the jean is called XYZ jean, doesn't mean they make it from the same fabrication. Different lots will be made differently. So if you find some that work for you, it pays to see what the fabrication details are. Some have more poly in them, some more spandex, etc.

Thanks Ladies!!!!

I'm sooo aware of Gap and the bagging issue. This is why I stopped shopping there for 2 years (aside from the jeans giving me a severe muffin top). If it's still an issue, I should keep it in mind. Does sizing down help?

@Shannon thanks so much for the advice! I will try this as soon as I get the jeans!

Katie - I'm thrilled to hear how much you like these because I have a pair on the way to me (along with the skinny black trousers). Unfortunately I do find Gap jeans to bag out - I have had some success with a trick a friend told me - BEFORE you wear the jeans, wash them in your machine in cold water and use fabric softener. Then when done, hang them to dry. There's something about the fabric softener helping to "hold" the fibers more in place before they've ever been stretched by your body. I know it sounds silly but it's worked for me on a couple of pairs. It doesn't completely stop the bagging but it did minimize it.

Like Claire, I have the low rise version. They bag out on me. But I liked them enough to wear them a lot last winter anyway. And when they got a tear in the knee (I fell on pavement) I cut them off for bermuda shorts and wore them happily all summer. I liked them better as shorts, actually. It was the knee bagging that bothered me more than the bum bagging. I don't mind a bit of looseness in the caboose!

I have their skinnies, but mine are low rise. This must be a new cut? It sounds heavenly. Tucking and belting are so much easier with a mid-rise, IMO. All I can tell you is Gap jeans tend to stretch out.

I tried these jeans on this evening. I loved them. I'm probably going to buy 2 pairs of the same colour. And here begins my rant: I WISH THEY MADE MORE OPTIONS! They only came in a very dark indigo blue (perfect because I can dress these jeans up!), but I wish they had a distressed dark denim, black, and coloured corduroy versions (in hot pink and purple).

I'm a squishy, slim and long legged rectangle, and so far, I like what I see and how I feel in these jeans. I have yet to test this out all day though, but I'm hoping to do that as soon as I find the budget to purchase them. From what I've seen in the dressing room though, it doesn't give me a muffin top (always a huge issue for me) and it hugs the curves in the right places.

Has anyone tried these jeans before? Do you happen to have any issues such as bagging around the bum or knees (my biggest concern - I tuck my jeans in my boots all the time)? How much does it stretch out? I'd really like to hear more!
