They are closer to a chino fabric. The fabric does have some heft to it, so if feels pretty substantial. I think I looked and they are mainly cotton with some small amount of tencel. They are not as casual as a sweats, but they do have a pretty casual vibe by themselves. They are definitely a shorter length on me, but I’m ok with that as we come into spring and summer. I trotted down to the store and went with my normal size in the gray. I would have probably got the olive, but they didn’t have it in store in my size. Happy because this color is different than what I’ve got at home, and I really like it.
