But I'm glad they don't look like it.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm also kind of cracking up about how I've got that top semi-tucked here and it's hiding at least 4-5" of high rise in those jeans. I tucked it in for a moment and just laughed and laughed. Tucking tops at my current size is just no bueno! Stunning.</p> <p>I understand why you wonder about the length, I feel the same way about my trousers, so used to have them at the floor sweeping length and highly sensitive to the “flood pants”. But times and fashions are obviously changing and the slightly shorter full length is the now length. It is just a matter of adjusting the eye, I guess. In a small, nearly flat heel like these cowboy boots, there’s a good inch or so between the hems and the floor. Should I return and get the longs (if they are available)? This is how all jeans hit me for years and years, and then in the early 2000s when floor-scraping lengths came around, I ditched the shorter lengths and never looked back, relieved to not have to wear flood pants again. </p> <p>So I don’t know, does this length look modern or just dorky? I was going to cut the tags and wear them today but now I’m second guessing. I could DIY a released hem out of them... </p>
