These look perfect for you! They work with all your colours and are a fun new neutral. They also work ideally with your climate. I love seeing all the pairings here - thank you for taking the time to do that.

Hmmm. Maybe you need TWO pair - one in this olive and one in khaki?

These are winners on you!

I want you to try scrunching the legs to below your calves and walking around the house for a while. Pretty please?

Ceit, I did try the scrunching but they don't stay up for me and I wouldn't wear them that way myself although I'd love to see them on others.

Pil, . I don't see them in white onine, but they do have a dark blue and stone. I think worn with white or "light" tops and sandals the green are great for spring/summer but yes, the "stone" color is lighter so it's tempting to keep them too. The light weight feel and comfort may sway me. I already have white summer jeans in both long and BF shorts versions so I don't think I need another pair of white pants myself, but I'll bet these would be great in white!

These look great on you Tex. That olive is really nice, but does the regular khaki *look* more summery? Maybe it makes sense to keep both - I don't remember but did Angie say in her review that she is hoping they will come out in white? Those would be nice to have for summer.

These look great. I wonder how they would stay up if worn as Angie observed and tried. I shall have to give it a go, I think!

You look fantastic in these! I'm interested in what Angie says about fit. I think these look more relaxed than slouchy. That's the way that I love to wear mine, though, so I think it is the perfect compromise between roomy and comfortable and figure flattering. Still fashion forward, but not too extreme. I'm always pro-figure flattering and will sacrifice a little edgy fashion forwardness in its favor. I love the color too--olives are a favorite of mine. People forget how fantastically versatile it is. They get caught up in the idea that it is green and miss that it is a neutral. And green and red are a favorite color combo of mine. So, bottom line, I think these look fantastic, I love the way you've paired them, and I can't wait to see your WIW posts with these all summer!!!

Ok, Tex, those do look great on you. I will definitely give these a try-on myself now, thanks to you. I like them with all the tops but agree about the navy belt going better with #2. Scarf and black is my favorite color combo. Rearview - very flattering!

Thanks for posting this! They look great. I like it that they're slouchy from the front but the rear view is still very flattering.

How much do they stretch out as you wear them? I always worry about baggy knees, etc, with this kind of fabric.

I posted about the Gap Slouch Khakis here first and wanted to give some pics.
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....n-a-bottle

These are just "quickie" pics with only minimal styling but I wanted to show you how versatile (at least I think) these Gap slouchy khakis might be. This is my usual size at Gap so I'm not sure I'd say to size up - I require a belt to keep them on.

They are a big wrinkly since the tag is still on. And I didn't even play with the roll, just tried them on as they came (already rolled).

1. First I tried them with the white shirt navy stripes, red belt and red sandals. I love this color combo and have a lot of navy in my wardrobe.

2. With a colorful peasant top and same shoes/belt. I may need to invest in a navy belt (if you notice the red isn't the best with the colors in the peasant top in brighter daylight.)

3. To show the versatility in color combos I mixed them with a brown cardi and brown belt. And since I neglected to save the photo showing the scarf I added a photo of the scarf next to it.

4, 5. Rear and side shots for reference for those interested.

On second try on I still find them really comfortable and light compared to many other warm weather pants options. I have a pair in the traditional khaki color too so I'm torn on rather to keep both or not - the khaki color does bookend my hair color so I'm tempted.
