These skinnies has a more relaxed, modern fit. I like them a lot, but I'd try the 33" version for a bit of slouch and shrinkage room.

Love the red loafers!

The red loafers look great to me and the fit of the jeans is fantastic. It might be worth a try to check out the 33" inch jeans just to compare. Do you like a little slouch?

I am wondering about the length as well. The real straight jeans are 32" long in regular size and I thought they were just a bit too long so I was glad to see that the skinnies were 31" long. But now that I have tried the skinnies on, I am wondering whether I should exchange for the long length/regular size (33"). They also come in tall sizes (35" long). Of course, if I get 33" long jeans, I just might need to shorten them for that perfect length... :)

The loafers are quite comfortable - soft leather, nice footbed. They are neither narrow, nor wide, I would say - my feet are narrow but I have some issues with bunions, and these don't seem to bother me, so definitely not overly narrow.

I like the fit of the jeans. Suz is right that they may end up a little short once you wash them a few times, though. I am not a loafer fan so I will not comment on that.

Oooh! I love the loafers! Are they comfortable? I think they look superb.

As for the jeans, wow, they look spectacular to me! They are probably on the short side, however. Do they come in tall sizes as well?

I think the Cole Haan loafers look great. I'm very picky about reds, so I'm wondering if they are the right red for you. I was looking at another pair of similar loafers and was wondering how they fit. Do they seem to run narrow or wide?

I think the jeans look great. I like the silhouette, but I'm not sure about length. I'll let someone else answer that one.

Over the last year, I stopped wearing skinnies almost completely - aside from the BR cream slouchy skinnies, that is. I have switched to wearing GAP real straight jeans almost exclusively, either with flats or tucked into moto boots. As the winter is nearing the end (I hope!), I realized that my straight jeans have shrunk considerably, making them too short for flats (but still OK tucked into boots). I will probably order another pair of the same jeans when they go on sale but in the meantime I decided to try out something different - curvy skinnies from GAP in indigo wash.

I think that my eye got adjusted to straight pants so I feel a bit strange about the skinnies. What do you think of this silhouette - is it still modern?

I am also trying out Cole Haan red loafers - I really like the idea of red loafers, and these are very comfortable - but is this "the" red loafer? :) There is another red loafer I am considering (Marc Joseph Grand St loafer, last picture) - but I have no idea what the quality is like, and the color may be too orangey and shiny.
