But it's not easy to then have enough clothes left to be properly dressed (of course that might be different depending on wardrobe size). Especially if you can't replace the piece with a better one instantly (because of budget or lack of clothes on offer). A-line? Pencil? Five pocket style? I think it depends a bit on that and on the way it fits you, but I find a great casual way to wear skirts is with a short (cropped) pullover in a relaxed fit.
