Bought the cream in S and it is plenty roomy. When I went back for a gray (these are my first chunky knits and quite effortless to wear), thought I'd try a medium for comparison. Well, only an XS and L were available. I tried the XS which fit, but conventionally. Tried the large and it is not that much bigger than my cream S. I am keeping it. </p> <p>This could be random mass production sizing issues, but I also wonder if the nature of this over-sized style is pretty flexible. The Dolman sleeves and no obvious shoulder seam are forgiving in a way other styles may not be. They also may stretch on the display hangers. The M blue seemed very close to the gray L. I rarely wear a large, so I would encourage people to keep an open mind in the dressing room. This is especially true for tall, slender builds who might appreciate the @ 2" of extra length in the L, but not want to completely swim in it.
