I think a little color is common at funerals these days. I would do a flat sandal or shoe or the boots. At a funeral or memorial, I have found that what is remembered by the family is that you cared enough to be there with them and not so much anything else. Only two or three wore black. Assuming that I am approved for two shoes, do you think either of these dresses are appropriate with the MM Myrtles? Because of the atrophy and weakness of my injured leg, I'm not chancing heels. The boots are RATE but not sloppy--at least not to me. If the rest of the outfit is polished, will this be okay for a funeral? I don't have any other flat-ish, supportive shoes and may not have time to order a bunch to try.&nbsp;</p> <p>I also have a plain black sleeveless sheath. Is that more appropriate? I don't know if any of my black jackets match though--that could be problematic. I guess I've been pretty fortunate. I haven't attended a funeral in quite awhile.&nbsp;</p> <p>TIA </p>
