I don't ususally wear them anymore unless my skirt is too sheer. Most items are fully lined now and don't require a slip. Camis seem to have taken their place. Women have long felt sexy in their lingerie.<br /> I have full slips and half slips of all styles and colors. But I like my full slips the best. They are the ones that make me feel sexy. Especially when it's cold out. As the nylon on a slip gets cooler, it get's silkier. So when I'm walking, I can feel that silkyness all over my body.<br /> Besides, it's like gift wrap for a man. It drives them wild. Don't take my opinion for it, look at all the films made with women in slips, before they ever went out of style. Those parts in those films were put there for a reason. My husband tells me that it just leaves so much more to the immagination that just a regular bra &#38; panty set. I'm still in my 30's, so it's not like I grew up in the slip craze.<br /> But you definately need a slip that fits. If I layer, it's because it makes an interesting visual or keeps me warm. I think slips can have a place if a dress/skirt is too sheer or itchy against the skin, but I probably would not wear a dress like that to begin with. I come from the generation of non-slip-wearers. My mom would always nag me to wear one, but I just found them annoying and fussy. I was constantly adjusting them to not peek out from under my skirt or dress, and just did not see the purpose of them. I never wore anything that required one. They just seemed hopelessly old-fashioned and unnecessary to me.</p> <p>I guess it depends what your style is. You obviously like the reaction you get; I would not. I do not have a sexy or alluring style. I do find it interesting that they make you feel sexy.
