Sarah, I had a pair of Harness boots that were narrow in the toe box and because the leather was so rough, even with socks I developed callouses on my side toes. I also have engineer boots which are true to size. So like most shoes, it depends on the style. I do not know if that helps but I just love those boots you are getting. I love most Frye boots!

I really think I'd be better off with a 7.5, plus, I think I might like the Olive (lighter brown) color better. I was looking at these at Tobi, fyi. They have them in size 6 and size 8.

I love the Paige cuffs! I've heard they run true to size, although a few people have had problems getting their foot in the boot (I guess it depends on your ankle and leg shape). I think getting a half-size up would be ok, since you can always wear thicker socks.

I'm not sure, Laura. I love them both ways so I thought I'd like to try them just in case. My goal for this fall was to get at least one pair of killer boots. I wear a lot of black, but last year I really fell in love with the black dress/brown boots look. I'm just afraid they'll be too big. I know I can return, but I don't like my $ being held up if it doesn't have to be.

Thanks for sharing I am holding out for the traditional harness boot (still NEVER on sale ... sigh ...)

These are killer! When they are worn unfolded, will they go over the knee?

The only size available is an 8, and I usually wear 7.5, even 7 in sandals. Heels I usually get in 7.5, and my Aerosole boots are 8s. These are a pull on style.
And yes laura, I will share where I found them. :)
This is the style and I'm hoping it will work well with dresses or over jeans (if they're big enough) in the fall. http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7415845/c/3.html

Sarah I find they run pretty true to size. I wear 7.5-8 and the Frye boots I have are 7.5 but they just fit. I probably could have got the 8 too. It might be good to have the larger size for insoles.

Sarah, I've tried on the Harness style. I tried 7.5 because I heard they run large. I couldn't even get my foot in. An 8 was perfect, which is my normal size. If you can't order two sizes to try, I'd order your regular size, unless you think you will wear socks with them.

Oooh, Sarah, congrats on finding a deal! It seems Frye boots NEVER go on sale. I have no idea on sizing, but after you place your order, do you mind divulging where you found them (assuming it's online?).

I found a fabulous pair of Frye boots at the deal of the century. But I'm not sure how their sizes run. I've heard both big AND small. I can return the boots, but I'm curious if anybody has any tips.
Thanks!
