I also have engineer boots which are true to size. So like most shoes, it depends on the style. I do not know if that helps but I just love those boots you are getting. I've heard they run true to size, although a few people have had problems getting their foot in the boot (I guess it depends on your ankle and leg shape). I tried 7.5 because I heard they run large. I couldn't even get my foot in. An 8 was perfect, which is my normal size.
