I also think the Eccos are a bit too tall on you. </p> <p>[And since you mentioned the leg-shortening thing, in general horizontal details do shorten while vertical ones elongate....]</p> <p>ps I wear my leather boots during our endless rainy winter and have no issues (and I usually skip umbrellas and often wear with skirts, so they are quite exposed). The fact that the Fryes are really calling to you suggests to me that you might very well incorporate them into your style, because you love them.
