uhhh... I don't own flats but I have a pair of sandals. They had to be broken in. The quality is superb. I swear, I get asked where I got them from all the time.

Yes, they're breaking in fairly quickly. My pinky toe always rubs at first and after a day of wear around the house it had made a nice little home for itself. My one complaint (I was prepared for it, as it was mentioned in several reviews) is that the soles are incredibly slippery. When they first arrived I was thinking I may have to have rubber soles applied. Walking down carpeted stairs I had to have a good grip on the handrail. After about 5 wears that seems to have lessened.

Honestly, this is my first pair of nice leather flats, so I can't compare them to much. So far I'm liking them and hoping they will hold up for many years of use.

Thanks Traci - I actually stopped and considered that exact pair myself!!

Are they fairly comfy and do you think they are breaking in quickly/easily?

(I'm being paranoid because I've never bought shoes from overseas before LOL)

I got these in blue a couple of weeks ago:
http://www.amazon.com/FRYE-Wom.....sbs_shoe_4

So far the quality seems great. Heavy stitching, and thick quality leather in a very rich, saturated color. They are melding to my feet, but the leather isn't so soft that I think it will wear out quickly. I'm quite happy with them.

Thanks Lynne, I hope the flats have the same quality as the boots.

And bumping for any other responses!

Does anyone have any experience with Frye flats? I know we have a strong Frye Boot following here!

I'm absolutely in love with these, and seeing as I have given up on my denim skirt search for a while, am contemplating these as my Christmas pressie to myself!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ.....PDKIKX0DER

They would come in just under $90 (shipped to Aus) which I think is reasonable for a well made pair of shoes that I expect to last for a long while... I just wish I knew they were def well made and going to last LOL

Any experiences or opinions most welcome!

Thanks
