I like the idea of the thicker sock on the smaller foot! I can't visibly see that they are too big - they are obviously wide in the shaft at a 15" circumference, but they are supposed to be slouchy so that shouldn't be a problem.</p> <p>With the Rory boots, the top part of the shaft (the slouchy part) is very soft and does stretch with each wear. The lower part of the boot (from the ankle down to the foot, below the curved seam) really does not stretch and is much firmer. If the Cindys are built similarly, I doubt that the foot part will stretch any more.</p> <p>My main concern is a) Are they going to meet your comfort needs, especially since they are a little big for you and b) do you love them enough to warrant the money spent, even if they are ridiculously cheap compared to unaffordable (well, to you and me) full priced Fryes? </p> <p>If these boots pass both tests, I'd keep them.
