I was doing that with the closet in Texas because we had like 5 hangers. I finally got some more at Target and now I have extra hangers in both places! </p> <p>One thing I have been doing is taking some of my unworn clothing to Texas to wear while I'm on the ranch. Funny thing is, every day there I end up wearing the same uniform -- tee and cutoffs or jeans, and a hoodie if it's cool. It's just too dusty and brutal an environment to bother with anything nicer. So I have a feeling that the next time I'm down there, I'll be taking a donation bag to the Goodwill there too! </p> <p>Another thing that is making it easier for me to purge items: I look at something that I haven't been wearing and ask myself, would one of my nieces likely wear it? If so, I'll give it to them! I have no feelings of guilt over the purchase then, and they LOVE my hand-me-downs. So it feels really good to hand them a bag of goodies.
