I spend a good portion of my time convincing clients that the back view in something looks completely acceptable. No need to be overly hard on yourselves. I often dont like my side profile so I always check it out when trying on new outfits. But I recently saw a photo of myself from a family event and was shocked to see how bad an outfit I thought was flattering really looked from the side - I felt like I had turned into one of my uncles with a beer gut! I can look really slim from the front but my stomach always sticks out. I avoid overly tight things there but our silhouettes are often in movement and others are not as critical as we are of ourselves so they are not going to be measuring us from every angle. If you know what I mean, most people just get a holistic view of you.
