I think that's part of why I like it, though. It looks like the pleats aren't pressed in very well and the pleat is pretty narrow - not a lot of overlap. The pleat is generally closed at the top, widening out at the bottom &amp; can almost look like culottes (but don't let that put you off!). The skirt is a knee length, wool blend houndstooth, which I think would be cute with one of my many pairs of black boots. </p> <p>I'm never really sure if a front pleat is supposed to hang in such a way that it is closed when you stand, or if it supposed to be open at the bottom. It makes it seem like it would have an a-line shape on me, which I think would be ok. </p> <p>What do you think?</p> <p>ETA: Added a photo! </p>
