It's kind of annoying because the center panel causes the dress to pucker unless you iron it to death--different fabrication from the rest of the dress. That being said, it's a nice summer dress even with a fussy belt.&nbsp;<br />#3style: The sandals are Miz Mooz--also several years old. I'll see if I have a find for them. I think that the striped one could work as is or go shorter, depending upon what else you might want to wear with it. I feel like if you had on one of your more boxy jackets, you might like the full length for contrast. Can you chop to that length (the front length)?</p> <p>I have found that with maxis, if you are shorter, it works best to have them really long, all the way to the floor (like yours was originally). Anything hovering around the ankle can look stumpifying.
