I knew I would not be able to layer my light blue button-down under this thin jersey cardi. so something else would have to server as a pop to add interest since both top and bottom are navy. A gold necklace was my initial choice but it didn't pop because the jacket is in the same color family. Then I remembered (at the last minute) that I had a red belt that came in the mail last week. (Pow, it worked!) then I decided to finally scrunch the sleeves of my jacket as many of you have suggested. It also helped that the inspiration has scrunched sleeves as well. </p> <p>I am also wearing my very comfy Miz Mooz tall boots.</p> <p>Normally I take my pictures before work, today I was running late so you get to see me in my spectacles (which I wear all day at work). I hadn't realized how nautical the white frames make the outfit look. </p> <p>Feedback and suggestions for improvement are always welcomed! </p>
