Lots of Italians there too, looking ever so stylish. Haha, when I saw that outfit in photo# 18 I thought, now there's an ANGIE outfit. I noticed lots of colour in their fashion. Striped mariners tops, sweaters, scarves, and colorful rain jackets were worn by locals and tourists alike even if they seemed a bit cliché. I also loved seeing all the fabulous medieval architecture found in the quaint, smaller cities, and towns of these regions.</p> <p>Paris, on the other hand, although a very beautiful and vibrant city, felt quite crowded and chaotic in many areas. Loads of tourists, that's for sure. I hadn't been there since the 1990s, but from my own observations, there was much more diversity in fashion styles than the internet would lead you to believe. There was still, of course, the elegant classics and trendy chic, but also plenty of the avant garde, bohenmian style, and retro vintage.</p> <p>Wide leg jeans and trousers seemed to be most popular on the streets of Paris, but there were straight leg jeans and flares too. Both fashion and athletic sneakers seemed to be the top choice for footwear, although loafers and tall boots were also quite common. Oddly, I rarely saw that many Mary Janes, but it might be due to the change in seasons.</p> <p>Scarves of every variety, thickness, and style are THE must have accessory for the French. Everyone, and I mean practically everyone, wears them, especially at this time of year.</p> <p>One popular style among the younger girls was wearing dark coloured tights, often patterned with short shorts.</p> <p>Funny enough, it seemed camel trench coats were more common amongst the tourists than the actual Parisiennes.</p> <p>Below are some of the sights and fashion styles that I saw along my trip.</p> <p><b>Photos 1- 4</b> Vannes and the Dinan region of Brittany </p> <p><b>Photos 5-7</b> Mont Saint-Michel and Bayeux in Normandy </p> <p><b>Photos 8-12 </b>Window shopping in the Brittany and Normandy Region</p> <p><b>Photo 13</b>- A typical outfit of mine to explore Paris. So much walking, my Hoka sneakers were absolutely essential. </p> <p><b>Photo 14-15</b> The famous stain glass ceiling at the Galleries Lafayette and a skyline view of Paris.</p> <p><b>Photo 16 </b> A fashion photo shoot happening outside the Louvre. ( The day before the jewelry heist)</p> <p><b>Photo 17- 22</b> More window shopping in Paris, and some of the fabulous designs found at both Galleries Lafayette and Printemps.</p> <p>I went carry-on and was quite happy with everything I packed. I may have even packed a bit too much. It was a mix and match capsule with plenty of layering to adjust to the changing temperatures throughout the day. I often repeated some of my outfits.</p> <p>I will also confess to eating way too many baguette sandwiches, croissants, and patisseries.
