OK Astrid, let's go for it. Although my fear is that I'd work through it and come up with Appropriated Edge ;)

I'll PM you.

It is made out to be a book you actively work with, with free space to write in and so on, which I didn't do. Maybe it would have been better if I had really actively worked with it. I just read it through and while I found some things resonating with me I think the concept of those two terms just didn't quite work for me.

I just did a quick search and found what I wrote a while ago in another thread:

"I've read the book a while ago and came up with Simple Chic. But that never really resonated with me. Somehow this concept didn't work for me. I've tried to find some current style descriptors instead this morning and just posted them on Sharon's thread. I went with simple, grounded and feminine. It goes into the same direction using both simple and feminine which incorporates chic in my eyes. But it adds grounded which I think was definitely missing from the style statement."

Astrid, I might be up for this, just out of curiosity.

Everyone here seems to like it, but I've seen mixed reviews. What did you think of it?
