For Anthro, I would suggest finding what you want online and then going down to the store with the item numbers. Sometimes the sales people do not know what styles come in petite and it does always show up on their mobile ordering things (I do not what they are called). I do not like paying for shipping which is why I shop at Nordstrom, Piperlime, Shopbop and a few others. Plus I am petite but often buy regular and have it altered. I know for certain that J. Crew will do this on any full-price item you order on the red phone. There is no free shipping for sale items at J. Not knowing this was Anthro's MO, I wandered into their store last week. I found the styles I wanted, and they said they could order them for me in Petite with FREE S/H.</p> <p>Is this ONLY because they happened to carry those styles in Regular sizes? IOW, would they have ordered other items that I found online, even if they never carried them in their store? I forgot to ask. I HATE spending $11/13 or whatever for S/H!!! I had the impression they might if you had the SKU. </p> <p>Will any other stores give you free S/H if you trot down to the store and they order for you? Like maybe J Crew? Nordies will call around from the store and give you free S/H, but they do that online anyway. . . </p>
